At the northern end of Bonita Beach sit the condos that enjoy prime gulf front and beach views.  The Casa Bonita Condominium buildings enjoy the spoils of being positioned on Little Hickory Island.  Casa Bonita Grande is one four of the Casa Bonita series on the Gulf of Mexico.

Casa Bonita Grande is an eight story, high rise building with fifty-four units total.  Each residence offers two bedrooms, two baths and floor plans vary from 1060-1371 square foot in air conditioned living space. 

The Casa Bonita Grande building was constructed in 1976.  Units are owned individually so they are decorated to the personality of the owner.  Some units have been renovated and updated while others may need more current decor.

As with many of the beach front condos on Hickory Boulevard many of the units at Casa Bonita Grande are conveniently sold turnkey furnished.  The units are popular rentals especially during tourist season due to their close proximity to the beach.  Tenants and owners are able to walk out the door and have sand on their feet just paces from the building.

Doc’s Beach House is a short bike ride away at the south end of Bonita Beach.

The Salty Surf Club of Bonita Beach is a trip down memory lane to the quaint fishing villages of yesterday.  Built in 1983, The Salty Surf Club is a located at the north end of Hickory Blvd.  The complex itself is small in stature and features a laid back atmosphere with a seashell parking lot and Key West cabana like feel.

There are only eight residences at The Salty Surf Club.  Rarely do units at The Salty Surf Club change hands and are they are usually sold privately.

No Oil on Bonita Beach

Well, now I’m hooked on going to the beach and actually using settings on this camera to get some great, oil-free shots for you.  By popular demand, a new inspection and photo of Bonita Beach for the northern home and condo owners that are worried about the condition of our beaches effecting their real estate.  All is clear … and I must also share that we’ve had some spectacular sunsets.

Gulf Front Condos on Bonita Beach Florida

A short drive up Hickory Boulevard on Bonita Beach leads to the first beach side condominium building on the Gulf of Mexico.  Built in 1978, Windsong condominium consists of twenty-four units within a nine story structure.  Windsong is directly south of The Egret condominium building.

Windsong offers walk out access to Bonita Beach, assigned parking, community swimming pool, library, trash chute, underground utilities, community meeting room with kitchenette, common storage area and private storage closets.

Residences at Windsong are all two bedroom, two bath.  There are three residences per floor.  The end units [01 and 03 units] offer 1,070 square foot of living area and the middle units [the 02 units] offer 1,132 square foot of living area.  All residences at Windsong offer gulf front, sweeping views of postcard perfect sunsets.

Nearby shopping and dining is available at Coconut Point Mall, Gulf Coast Town Center and Coastland Center Mall.  The upscale shopping districts Naples 5th Avenue and 3rd Street South are only about twenty to thirty minutes away, also.

Clean Beaches & Great Sunsets at Bonita Beach

There have been more than a few email request from absentee condo owners on Bonita Beach who are worried about the news about the oil leak.  Bonita Beach is still clean and pretty and I told ya I’d prove it.  So here you go, Bonita Beach today.  Nothing to see here, folks … move along. 

There is No Oil on Southwest Florida Beaches
