Bonita Beach Free Parking on Hickory Blvd.
If you’re looking for a place to access Bonita Beach and save a few nickels try hitting up one of the public free access spots on Hickory Blvd. Bonita Springs is called the Gateway to the Gulf. The only access to Bonita Beach or Barefoot Beach is via Bonita Beach Road. Right as Bonita Beach Road meets the Gulf of Mexico it angles north and becomes Hickory Blvd.
Bonita Beach Access number one is located right beside Doc’s Beach House Restaurant and there is a charge to park there. Starting at Beach Access number two parking is free. Beach Access parking lots two through nine are free. Parking is limited, generally spots for 4-8 cars, so they fill up fast. There are handicap spots available.
If you’ve found yourself at Bonita Beach during tourist season or a holiday and parking is slim don’t forget to access the Collier County side of Bonita Beach. The parking is pay but there are dozens of hidden spots that many people do not know about. First, there is Barefoot Beach preserve at the south end of the Barefoot Beach community. It is a state park so it is pay entry. There is also Collier County Bonita Beach Access that has a hidden drive just before the gatehouse at Barefoot Beach.
See you at the beach. Take only pictures, leave only footprints.
