Hidden in The Old Bonita State Streets
This mailbox was on Kentucky Street west of the rail road tracks. I stumbled across it when I was looking for the Carambola Tree.

Kentucky Street is at the corner of Old 41 Road where the old Shangri-La Hotel is located. Last weekend I had a chance to canoe Oak Creek and tour the property from the creek vantage point. It’s been years since I’ve been on the grounds. It’s a long, “back in the day” story. maybe after I sort through the pictures I can tell you about it.
At any rate, we canoed east all the way to Bonita Beach Road. When the banana spiders came there was a retreat. I didn’t think they’d be out in the winter. Boy, was I wrong!
