I believe that Florida real estate law states that all licensees must disclose they are licensed real estate agents in their own transactions or their family members transactions. Have your agent contact the other agent's broker if you think there is foul play.

Chris,

Is it ethical for a FL listing agent to sell his/her own short sale and not disclose the conflict? I put an offer on a house only to have a shell game with multiple listings with different prices for the same property (the listing agent's website vs the mls listing). I put an offer in based on the mls price I saw on zillow. A week later the zillow mls listing was changed to link to the listing agent's site at a $20k higher "bank approved" price. 2 months later, the still-active mls price was increased $50k and neither my agent nor I ever received word on the original offer. The listing agent is still advertising his price which is now lower than the mls. All the while he never disclosed that he was the short sale owner. What gives????
