
Taste of Coconut Point
If you’re looking for things to do in Bonita Springs and Estero, especially inexpensive things to do, hit up Coconut Point Mall this Sunday.
Taste the best of what is on local menus at the first Taste of Coconut Point from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 13 at the Estero, Florida mall.
More than 20 restaurants will serve samples, including Ruth’s Chris Steak House, California Pizza Kitchen, Johnny Rockets, The Grape, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza.
General admission for the event is $3. Food and beverage samples range from $2 to $5. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled, Healthy Start, Bonita Leadership and Simon Youth Foundation.
The event at the mall’s south lakeside parking area will also feature live music and children’s activities.
The Main Street-style mall also is launching the free Coconut Connection Card, a discount program valid July 13-Nov. 15. Cardholders will be eligible for various discounts at Coconut Point restaurants, such as 25 percent off at The Grillroom. Cards are available at the mall management office and participating restaurants.
Coconut Point Mall is located at the corner of US 41 - Tamiami Trail and Coconut Road at the border of Bonita Springs and Estero. It is very near Rapallo, The Brooks community and across the Street from Marsh Landing.
