Bonita Springs - Land of Safe (no) Drivers
Our little village has suffered through the growning pains and infrastructure upgrades to widen our roads. We can now accomodate our seasonal visitors without near the congestion the Bonita Springs and Estero area had suffered from in the past.
Today, I was on my way to meet the rest of the Keller Williams Running and Limping Club for an impromtu 8 mile run. We’ve been meeting behind Muvico at Coconut Point Mall and then we run throught the Brooks past Shadow Wood, Copperleaf and Spring Run. Heading north on 41 in front of Pelican Landing and sort of day dreaming I realized that if I didn’t know better the car in front of me was DRIVERLESS. I watched it for a spell and then took a picture. The person driving this car was either very small or dunked down out of sight. I couldn’t even see a head or any movement at all. I just thought the photo was cute enough to share with world.
I know, I know. If you’re from the Bonita Springs area you’d be joking that you’re surprised the car doesn’t have an Ohio license plate, going 40 miles per hour in the fast lane with the blinker on. For the last time, we love our snow birds, we just don’t like slow moving traffic.

I just know it was a cute little old lady. I can almost picture her.
Reading about your jogging plans gave me blisters.
Hows that treadmill coming, Maggie? =)
Headless drivers? I see those on the time. It’s a natural part of Florida living
